Set in a world where witches run havoc, the military decides to shift from using sword to utilizing guns to neutralize magical threats. The Anti-Magic Academy is an institution that specializes in training witch hunters. Takeru Kusunagi, who can’t use guns and continues to fight with a sword, is relegated to the 35th Test Platoon, a motley group who can’t cooperate. One day, Ouka Ohtori, an elite pistol master who was forced into demotion, joins the platoon. Will they be able to gather their strengths and work together?

Following the destruction of the magical floating device, the Magic Academy falls to earth, but unfortunately lands on and breaks a demon seal, releasing hundreds of ancient demons into the forest around the academy. The teachers are barely keeping the demons away and are desperately searching for the pieces of the floating device, so to earn more magic stones, all of the students from Amelia's class decide to leave the academy (even though they were told not to) to find the missing pieces.

While plot details are being kept under wraps, it’s being described as an action/horror film.

The movie The Academy explores and emphasizes the importance of acting training for aspiring actors who wish to succeed in a highly competitive work environment. The story is also woven around a love triangle between three main characters.

They will be trained to become efficient weapons of death, honing into a valued asset the very thing that made them outcasts. They are divided into classes, trained as a unit for three years and isolated from everyone and everything else. The final exam? Over 100 square kilometers, classmates must track down and eliminate each other until only one remains. The rules: They cannot engage each other in public places, in front of witnesses, or harm or cause harm to innocent bystanders. Highly trained and with limited time, friend will kill friend, enemy slaughter enemy across a populated urban backdrop. This is The Academy.
